About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources department. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all HR functions for both our office and aviation personnel, ensuring a positive and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, and aviation regulations.
Responsibilities:
Office Personnel Management
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from talent acquisition to seamless onboarding, for all office staff.
- Training & Development: Develop, implement, and manage corporate training and development programs designed to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, including data analysis and the setting of clear, measurable development goals for office personnel.
- Staff Management: Handle daily staff management, including scheduling, leave management, and employee relations. Drive succession planning initiatives for key roles within the office.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update company policies, ensuring full compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment through various initiatives and programs.
- Payroll & Benefits: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of office staff payroll and comprehensive benefits administration.
- Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all workplace health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
- Insurance: Manage office and flight crew insurance programs, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate and provide comprehensive HR support for company events and activities.
Aviation Personnel Management
- Recruitment & Selection: Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies tailored to aviation roles. Conduct professional interviews, assessing technical skills, competencies, and critical safety awareness. Verify all aviation qualifications, licenses, and certifications thoroughly.
- Onboarding & Training: Manage and lead the onboarding process specifically for aviation personnel. Oversee aviation-specific training programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining high training quality.
- Contract Management: Prepare and review all crew contracts, ensuring strict compliance with aviation labour laws and regulations while protecting company interests and ensuring fair and equitable treatment.
- Documentation & Licensing: Manage all crew documentation and licensing requirements, ensuring all necessary paperwork is current and compliant.
- Crew Welfare & Support: Develop and implement robust crew welfare and support programs to ensure the well-being of our aviation personnel.
- Payroll & Benefits: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll and comprehensive benefits administration for all aviation personnel.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure unwavering compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and industry best practices.
Legal & Compliance
- Stay continuously abreast of all relevant labour laws, regulations, and legal requirements, ensuring full company compliance across all operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field degree preferred.
- Proven experience in Human Resources Management within the business aviation sector or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of labour laws and regulatory compliance applicable to multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Proficient in the use of HR Information Systems for data management and reporting purposes.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on teamwork, initiative taking, and flexibility.
